Pregnant woman and baby killed in Fort Worth crash
The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a fatality accident that occurred earlier today on southbound East Loop 820 at 287.
At 12:42pm, emergency responders were called to the scene after a vehicle overturned and one person was possibly ejected.
Medstar paramedics found a critically injured pregnant female and quickly transported her to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Medical personnel performed an emergency surgery in an attempt to save both the mother and the child, but unfortunately her injuries were too severe. Both the woman and her child were no pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Fort Worth’s traffic investigations unit is working the crash investigation.
