Motorcyclist killed in Rendon crash
The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatality accident that occurred this afternoon along Farm to Market Road 1187 at Country Squire Lane.
At 3:37pm, members of the Rendon Fire Department and Tarrant County sheriffs deputies responded to a multiple vehicle crash at the given intersection. Emergency crews located two SUVs and a motorcycle with major damage.
Paramedics determined the motorcyclist had been killed in the crash. They pronounced the rider deceased at the scene. It is unclear if anyone else was injured.
Lanes of FM 1187 between Stephenson Levy Road and J Rendon Road were closed for a few hours while police investigated the scene. The cause is under investigation.
