NEW: Fort Worth police pursue and arrest suspects from Home Depot shooting in North Las Vegas

The Fort Worth Police Department has arrested two suspects wanted in connection for an out of state shooting.

At around 11:00am on Monday, North Las Vegas Police Department in Nevada responded to a shooting at a Home Depot store in their city. A loss prevention officer from the store was shot and the suspects fled the scene in a Ford Taurus with California license plate tags. The loss prevention officer was not seriously injured.

Information relayed to local police departments indicated the suspects may be in the North Texas area.

Tonight at around 7:30pm, an officer spotted a vehicle matching the description and attempted to make a traffic stop. The suspects took off, leading Fort Worth police on a long pursuit that eventually ended along eastbound North Loop 820 and Riverside Drive.

Fort Worth officers took the driver and a passenger into custody. There will be local charges filed as well as extradition for the out of state warrants, according to authorities.
