Three people shot, two of them bystanders, during argument near Dallas’ Fair Park

The Dallas Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred overnight near Fair Park.

At around 12:20am, a DART police officer was notified of a person laying on the ground near Al Lipscomb Way and Meyers Street. DART officers located two shooting victims, both bystanders waiting for an Uber.

Investigators say two women were involved in an argument near the location when one pulled out a gun and started shooting. The other woman was shot along with the two bystanders located by DART Police.

The innocent victims, identified as a 20-year-old man and 19-year-old woman, were transported to area hospitals. The man is in critical condition.

The woman shot during the argument was also transported to a local hospital, condition unknown.

The investigation is ongoing.
