[UPDATED] Dallas police looking for speeding driver who hit, killed elderly woman

The Dallas Police Department is searching for the driver who fatally struck an 82-year-old woman yesterday morning in northwest Dallas.

At 11:11am, Dallas police and paramedics responded to the intersection of Royal Lane and Rosser Road for a major accident. Dallas Fire Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital where she died.

Police say the suspect vehicle was traveling at high speeds when the accident occurred. The suspect driver and passengers abandoned the vehicle and ran away on foot.

The suspect vehicle is a gray Toyota Avalon, Texas license plate PKH5392.

[UPDATE]

Today the Dallas Police made an arrest in the hit and run crash that killed an 82-year-old woman on November 7, 2022.

Dallas Police identified the suspect driver as a 12-year-old male and charged him with Murder.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
