UPDATE: One person killed in Decatur crash
The Decatur Police Department has released additional information regarding last night’s crash on Highway 380.
At 7:15pm, Decatur FD, Wise County EMS, and Decatur PD responded to the scene on Highway 380 just east of FM 51. Officials say a vehicle collided with an 18-wheeler.
Wise County EMS transported the 47-year-old male driver of the vehicle to nearby Wise Health System hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. A passenger was extricated from the crash and airlifted to Medical City Denton on PHI Med 10, pictured above.
The crash remains under investigation.
