At around 2:35pm this afternoon, an off-duty Fort Worth officer driving eastbound on I20 witnessed someone in a vehicle shooting at another vehicle.
On-duty officers were able to catch up to the suspect vehicle at Mansfield Highway and I20. When officers attempted to pull the vehicle over, the driver fled southbound on W. The collision caused the suspect vehicle to overturn. Two individuals inside the suspect vehicle were pronounced deceased on the scene. A third was transported to the hospital with injuries.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined the suspect vehicle had been reported stolen out of Grand Prairie, Texas and officers were able to locate two firearms that were ejected from the vehicle during the rollover.
