Grand Prairie officer hit by red light runner
A Grand Prairie officer has sustained minor injuries after a crash on the northbound SH 360 service road at Eden Road.
Reports indicate a Grand Prairie police officer was traveling through the intersection when another vehicle ran a red light and hit the squad car.
Luckily, the officer only sustained minor injuries. The other driver was also not seriously hurt.
Expect some minor traffic congestion in the area while police and fire crews clear up the scene.
