4 people shot dead at northwest Dallas apartment
The Dallas Police Department is investigating a Sunday evening homicide that claimed the lives of four individuals.
At 7:10pm, Dallas police officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex in the 3500 block of Villaverde Avenue. When officers arrived, they located two adult men and two adult women all deceased from gunshot wounds.
Investigators quickly identified the suspects as Artemio Maldonado, 18, and Azucena Sanchez, 20. Dallas police tracked down their vehicle and arrested both of them around 10:00pm Sunday evening.
Both suspects have been charged with Capital Murder. Authorities have not released their motive.
An infant was in the apartment during the shooting but was not hurt.
The investigation is ongoing.
