Barricaded man taken into custody after incident in Crowley area
On Friday, May 19, 2023, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Tarrant County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a domestic incident in the 10300 block of Fort Teran Trail.
The caller told dispatch that she and her husband were having an argument and the husband assaulted her. She also said he was armed with a gun.
Crowley PD was first on scene, according to Tarrant County SO. When they arrived, the suspect, a 40-year-old man, walked into the garage of the home and closed the door.
The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team was called out to assist. At approximately 12:00 p.m., the suspect was taken into custody with no further incident. He’s been booked into the Tarrant County Jail. He is charged with Assault Family Violence/Impeding Breath and an additional outstanding felony warrant.
