12-year-old girl struck, killed while riding bike in Southlake
At around 9:30am this morning, Southlake Fire/EMS and Police were dispatched to a crash in the 100 block of Davis Blvd.
When emergency responders arrived, they determined a 12-year-old girl was riding her bicycle when she was struck by a pickup truck.
A preliminary investigation indicates the girl was riding her bicycle northbound on the sidewalk and the pickup truck was traveling northbound on Davis. The pickup truck turned right into a private drive and collided with the girl.
Paramedics transported the girl to a Grapevine hospital, but she was pronounced deceased.
No charges have been released at this time.
