One driver killed, four others hurt in Garland crash
The Garland Police Department is investigating a fatality accident that occurred earlier this afternoon along W. Miller Road in the city’s industrial area.
Police say two vehicles were involved in a collision on Miller Road between Distribution Drive and Sanden Drive. Speed and wet roadway conditions were contributing factors in the crash.
The driver and three passengers inside the at-fault vehicle were all transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. The driver of the second vehicle was pronounced deceased.
The roadway was closed for approximately four hours while investigators worked the scene. Lanes reopened around 5:30pm.
