On Tuesday, August 4th, at around 11:29pm, Dallas Police and Fire Rescue responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Hampton Road and Singleton Blvd. Initial information indicated two vehicles were shooting at each other.
Officers determined one person was shot by an unknown suspect, who fled the scene. The victim also drove away, but later crashed into a lake near Fish Trap Road and Singleton Blvd.
The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
