The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a major accident with fatality that occurred overnight in the 13300 block of FM 730.
Multiple emergency responders were called to the scene on FM 730 near Reed Road around 12:54AM. A woman, aged in her 40’s, was found deceased along the roadway. Lanes of FM 730 were closed while police investigated the scene.
Law enforcement believes the woman was struck by a passing vehicle. She was wearing blue jeans and a gray and black shirt.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as a 44-year-old woman from Azle.
