Man arrested for shooting into group of people at Dallas bar; two killed

The Dallas Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred yesterday morning (Sunday) at a bar in the 8400 block of Harry Hines Blvd, not far from Dallas Love Field airport.

Just before 10:00AM on Sunday morning, police say a 33-year-old man opened fire into a group of people standing in the parking lot of the La Yalorde Bar, 8410 Harry Hines Blvd. Two people were shot in the attack.

Dallas Fire Rescue transported both victims to a local hospital, but they were pronounced deceased from their injuries. Officials have identified them as a 37-year-old female and 35-year-old male.

Officers arrested the 33-year-old suspect and booked him into Dallas County jail on a Capital Murder charge.

The circumstances of the shooting are still under investigation.
