The Lewisville Police Department is investigating a shooting that seriously injured two people this evening.
At 6:45pm, Lewisville police were called to a home in the 1200 block of Palisades Drive for a shooting. Officers arrived to find two victims with gunshot wounds. Lewisville EMS transported both victims to Medical City Lewisville for treatment of serious injuries.
Detectives determined a 28-year-old man shot his estranged girlfriend, a 27-year-old woman, and then shot himself.
Both are in surgery at Medical City Lewisville. Their conditions have not been released. We will report any official updates.
The investigation is ongoing.
