The Denton Police Department is investigating a fatality accident that occurred this afternoon in the 1400 block of Dallas Drive near Rio Grande Blvd.
At around 3:45pm, Denton Fire/EMS and Police responded to the location for a major accident involving a motorcycle and a truck.
Denton EMS transported the rider to a local hospital, but he was pronounced deceased. He has been identified as a 22-year-old man.
Lanes of Dallas Drive were closed while Denton PD investigated this crash. All lanes have since been reopened.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
