At around 1:30pm today, Lake Worth police officers were dispatched to an accidental shooting at Spring Creek BBQ, 6701 Lake Worth Blvd.
Officials say a man was holstering his weapon and it discharged, striking him in the upper hip.
MedStar EMS transported the man to a local hospital with serious injuries. His condition is not reported to be life-threatening.
This incident follows another accidental shooting at the Lake Worth Wal-Mart yesterday. A man grabbed his gun while in his vehicle and it went off, striking his hand and leg. The pistol was found to be stolen. He was not seriously hurt.
