At around 4:20pm this afternoon, Dallas Police and Fire-Rescue responded to a major accident involving a pedestrian in the 1100 block of Easton Road near Garland Road.
Police say a man was walking across the roadway when a vehicle hit him. It is unknow if he was in a crosswalk.
Dallas Fire Rescue pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
The driver immediately stopped and remained at the scene. No charges are expected.
The crash remains under investigation.
