On Saturday, March 2nd, at approximately 10:15pm, Fort Worth police were dispatched to the 2900 block of Crockett Street for a shooting.
A preliminary investigation has determined that one person was shot multiple times during an altercation.
Upon arrival, officers along with medical personnel, attempted to resuscitate the gunshot victim, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The suspect fled prior to officers arrival.
Homicide detectives are investigating this scene.
UPDATE
On Monday, March 4, 2024, the suspect in this shooting turned himself in to the Tarrant County Jail. He is identified as Karlove Palmer, 29. He is currently in custody in the Tarrant County Jail on a charge of Murder.
