Dallas PD is investigating a crash that claimed the lives of two people.
On March 9, at around 10:40pm, an 18-year-old woman and her male passenger attempted to turn left in the 2300 block of Centerville Road when a pickup truck ran a stop sign and broadsided their vehicle.
The 18-year-old woman was transported to a local hospital, but pronounced deceased. Her passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver who ran the red light was transported to a hospital with injuries, and later booked into the Dallas County jail on two counts of Manslaughter.
A third vehicle was involved in the crash, but the driver was not seriously hurt.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
