Just before 1:00am Wednesday, Burleson Fire/EMS and Police were dispatched to a major accident along southbound Interstate 35W a mile south of Hidden Creek Parkway.
Preliminary information indicates a woman was driving on the highway and involved in a rollover crash. She was ejected and struck by a vehicle. Burleson paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as a 75-year-old woman.
All northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 35W were closed for most of the overnight hours yesterday while Burleson police investigated the crash. It remains under investigation.
