At around 3:15pm earlier today, Dallas Fire Rescue and Police responded to a major accident in the northbound lanes of Interstate 45 near Interstate 20.
A preliminary investigation reveals a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle.
Lanes of I45 were closed for a few hours while Dallas police investigated the accident.
All lanes have since reopened.
