At around 8:45am, Fort Worth Fire, Police, and MedStar EMS responded to a multi-vehicle accident in the northbound lanes of Interstate 35W near Risinger Road.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel located four vehicles and multiple injuries. Fort Worth firefighters extricated one person from a wrecked vehicle.
MedStar EMS transported multiple people to the hospital. One person was later pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as a 25-year-old woman from Waco.
Lanes of northbound I35W were closed while Fort Worth police investigated the scene.
