At 10:05pm on Friday evening, Fort Worth police responded to a shooting at the Stallion Ridge Apartments, 9100 block Metcalf Lane.
When emergency crews arrived, they found a 2-year-old boy with a gunshot wound. Life-saving measures were administered on the child at the scene and on the way to the hospital, but his injury was too severe. He was pronounced deceased.
FWPD says their Gun Violence detectives are investigating this incident.
