On June 4, 2025, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Tarrant County Sheriff’s Deputies and Fire Rescue personnel were dispatched to a drowning call in the West Bay Marina in the 6900 block of Liberty School Tap Road.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a three-year-old girl was unconscious on the ground after being pulled from Eagle Mountain Lake.
Two Good Samaritans performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
The child was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Tarrant County Criminal Investigators are reviewing evidence to determine how the child ended up in the water.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
