Woman killed in Richardson motorcycle crash; former NFL player arrested for DWI

On June 7, 2025, at approximately 4:51 a.m., the Richardson Police Department and Fire Department responded to a fatal motorcycle crash in the 2400 block of northbound North Central Expressway (US-75).

The female motorcycle driver, identified as a 27-year old from Plano, was pronounced deceased at the scene. There were no other vehicles or people located at the crash scene.

At approximately 5:39 a.m., the Plano Police Department received a call from Kelvin Joseph Jr., a 25-year old resident of Allen, who advised he had been involved in the crash.

Richardson Police Department Officers contacted Joseph and determined he was northbound on North Central Expressway in a BMW sedan when he was involved in a collision with the motorcycle.

While speaking with Joseph, officers observed signs of intoxication. Joseph was subsequently arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (Misdemeanor B) and Collision Involving Personal Injury or Death (2nd Degree Felony).
