On Saturday, January 17th, at approximately 5:15pm, Dallas police responded to reports of a man shooting a gun in the 1200 block of Presidio Avenue.
When officers arrived, they located the armed man in the street. The officers gave commands for him to drop the weapon, and he did not comply. Officers fired, striking the man at least once.
Officers rendered aid on the scene. Dallas Fire Rescue transported him to a local hospital in stable condition.
No officers were injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
