At around 8:00PM this evening, multiple fire departments from Parker and Hood counties were dispatched to a fire at the Tri-Chem facility, 2600 North Cresson Highway (Highway 171).
Heavy black smoke was visible while units were responding.
First-arriving firefighters reported multiple storage tanks on fire at the facility. At this time, the building did not catch fire.
The fire has been brought under control at this time.
The cause is under investigation.
