On November 1, 2023, at approximately 7:20 a.m., Tarrant County Sheriff’s Deputies and Briar-Reno VFD responded to the 7400 block of Portwood Rd in Azle on a call about a pickup truck that hit a mailbox.
After arriving on scene, deputies found the truck had rolled over as a result of the crash and a man was still in the driver’s seat of the truck.
The driver was transported by CareFlite helicopter to a local hospital in unknown condition.
The crash may have occurred several hours before being discovered.
Tarrant County Crash Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.
