Shooting (Arlington) Arlington PD is working a shooting incident in the 1100 blk of Silverwood Drive. Avoid the area. MTF. A1

UPDATE – Statement from Lt. Cook with Arlington PD: “We responded around 6am to multiple reports of shots being fired. When officers arrived on scene, they did locate a suspect; however, he did refuse to surrender. He did fire upon officers. At this point, we believe we do have the apartment surrounded. We have assistance from the Grand Prairie Police Department. Their SWAT team is on scene assisting us. And at this point, we will continue to try to negotiate a peaceful surrender with the suspect. We have 1 confirmed victim, the condition of that victim is unknown at this time.”

UPDATE – Arlington Shooting *UPDATE – APD: Suspect is now in custody after surrendering to law enforcement.

Major Accident (Dallas): Engine 33 has requested a heavy rescue response southbound I35 at Kiest. Working on gathering more information. A6

UPDATE: patient was transported via rescue 15 code 3 (lights and sirens) to the hospital.

Fatality Accident (Irving) Earlier this morning, Irving Fire/EMS and IPD worked a major accident on Irving Blvd. between Story Rd. and Belt Line Rd. 1 vehicle wrapped completely around a tree. Irving EMS transported to Parkland, but patient was pronounced at the hospital. (We removed picture of the scene due to knowledge of fatality – thank you for understanding). A1

High water (Ft Worth) Engine 27 is requesting PD to close Trinity Blvd behind Bell Helicopter as there are several vehicles stalled in high water at this time. Engine 27 checking for occupants of the vehicles. PD needing to close Trinity Blvd between Precinct Line Road and Bell Spur. A2

House Fire (Frisco) Engine 3 is on scene with fire thru the roof of a large 2 story home, 6300 blk Orchard Park Drive.

House Fire (Ft Worth) Engine 15 on scene in the 4800 block of Barnhill Lane with a single story brick residential structure with fire showing from the base of the chimney. Possible lighting strike of the residence. A2

Gas Well Fire (Haslet) Engine 28, Chief 28 on scene of a fire reported at a gas well site located at 11540 Eagle Vista Drive. Reported as a lightning strike at the location. A2

House Fire (Collin Co, Allen) Allen and Fairview FDs are working a house fire, reported to be on Ellis Drive. Smoke showing on arrival.
