Truck 43 is on scene of a large mulch pile on fire in the 1900 block of California Crossing Road. Battalion 7, Battalion 9, Engine 35, Engine 43, Engine 47, Truck 36, Brush 30, and Rescue 43 all assigned to the fire. This one will be burning a while.
Briaroaks FD, Alvarado FD, Lillian/ESD 82 FD, and Rendon FD are all on scene of a structure fire in the 6500 block of CR 608. Heavy fire showing from a two story residence. Defensive fire operations at this time. Venus FD, Burleson FD, Keene FD, and the Emergency Support Service have also been requested to the scene.
Forreston FD, Ellis County EMS, and Sheriff’s deputies are on scene of a major accident near Blair Road and Forreston Road. PHI Med 6 has been launched to the scene.
Multiple Dallas Fire-Rescue crews are working a fuel spill with HazMat response on southbound I45 near Loop 12/Great Trinity Forest Way. TxDOT reports this as a vehicle fire involving an 18 wheeler. Expect some delays in this area.
Grapevine PD is investigating a fatality accident this morning on northbound Highway 121 near FM 2499. All northbound lanes of 121 were closed to investigate the crash. Grapevine EMS ground transported one patient to Baylor Grapevine with CPR in progress, but the injuries were too significant. The accident occurred between 8am and 9am this morning.
Springtown FD, La Junta FD, LifeCare EMS, and law enforcement are all working a major accident on westbound Highway 199 just west of Springtown. Possible ejection and entrapment. Air Evac has been launched to the scene. Multiple patients. Avoid this area.
East and West bound 183 is shut down at Story Road due to power lines across the freeway.
