Rollover Accident (Ft Worth) Engine 24, Quint 24 along with MedStar and FWPD are working a major accident involving a SUV rollover on South Bound East Loop 820 at E Berry Street. Vehicle reported to be on the exit ramp. MedStar advising one patient with non serious injuries. A2

Bank Robbery Suspect – Arlington PD

Arlington PD is Seeking public’s help in identifying a bank robbery suspect.

On Monday, April 29, 2013 at around 5:30 p.m., a suspect walked into a bank located in the 200 block of N. Mesquite Street and pointed a handgun at bank employees and demanded money. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash, left the bank on foot and entered a vehicle parked nearby.
Investigators believe this suspect is responsible for several other recent bank robberies across the Metroplex and is referred to as the “Mesh Mask Bandit.” He is described as approximately 35-40 years of age, 5’8” to 5’10” tall, average/muscular build, with a thick mustache or goatee. In Monday’s robbery, the suspect was wearing dark pants, a dark-colored hooded jacket, a black baseball cap, and a black mesh “wave cap” or “stocking” over his face.
The suspect vehicle is described as an early to mid-2000 model, navy blue Dodge Caravan, displaying a paper license plate. A dye pack included with the cash is believed to have deployed as the suspect got to his vehicle. The vehicle may have red dye stains on the driver’s side of the van. The suspect may also have possible dye and burns on his body.
Photographs of the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle are attached. This suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach the suspect. Anyone with information on this offense or other similar robberies is asked to call Arlington Police Detective Brian Dunn at 817-459-5729 or Crime Stoppers 817-469-TIPS (8477). All tipsters can remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.


18 Wheeler Rollover (Ft Worth)

18 Wheeler Rollover (Ft Worth) Engine 17, Quint 17, Squad 2, Support 2 along with MedStar and FWPD are working a major accident involving an 18 wheeler rollover on the bridge from West Bound Interstate 20 to South Bound Interstate 35. MedStar reporting minor injuries but heavy traffic delays. A2

Motorcycle Accident (Ft Worth)

Motorcycle Accident (Ft Worth) Quint 35 along with MedStar and FWPD are on scene of a motorcycle accident in the 2400 Block of Westport Parkway. Reported one male subject injured on the ground. Careflite was placed on stand by but have just been disregarded. Patient being transported by ground to JPS. A2

Hazmat (Frisco)

Hazmat (Frisco) Quint 606 is on scene near the Walmart at 423 and El Dorado Parkway for a construction crew that has hit a gas main. Quint 606 requesting HazMat 601 and Battalion 601 to the scene. A2

Amber Alert (North Richland Hills)

Amber Alert (North Richland Hills) North Richland Hills police have issued an Amber Alert. NRHPD is requesting the public’s help in finding a 14-year-old girl who has been missing for nearly a week. Ruby Contreras, 14, did not return home from North Oaks Middle School in Haltom City on April 24. Her parents told police that this is not typical behavior for her. They believe she is in danger in the company of Stephan Cox, 26.
Ruby is about 4-feet-11-inches and 95 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans. The man police believe she is with, Stephan Cox, is about 5-feet-5-inches and 130 pounds.
According to a press release from North Richland Hills, police believe Ruby has left the area and is traveling with Cox by bus to West Texas. They believe the two were seen in El Paso together.
