UPDATE: 21-year-old dead after crash near Argyle

Argyle FD/EMS, Denton FD, and DPS all responded to a major accident with fatality early this morning in the 7000 block of FM1830 near Argyle.

Fire officials say one vehicle was located off the roadway. The vehicle struck a metal pipe and ended up in a wooded area.

The occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased on the scene. He has been identified as a 21-year-old male.

DPS is investigating the crash.

Homeowner charged with murder after killing possible robber at east Dallas home

The Dallas Police Department responded to reports of a home invasion / robbery in progress last Thursday morning, September 26th, at 7:06AM in the 5400 block of Philip Ave.

When police officers arrived, they located a gunshot wound victim lying in the backyard of the residence. He had sustained a gunshot wound to the back of his neck. Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.

During the investigation, homicide detectives with the Dallas PD interviewed the homeowner, a 72-year-old male. He was subsequently arrested for murder and transported to the Dallas County Jail.

The identity of the deceased has not been released at this time.

There have been other media outlets reporting details on this story; however, no other details have been released by police at this time. We will keep this story updated as information is released.

UPDATE: One dead in crash on I35W in north Fort Worth

The Fort Worth Police Department has released an update on the crash on northbound I35W near Highway 287 in north Fort Worth.

Multiple Fort Worth PD and FD units responded to the scene just before 8:00AM in the northbound I35W express lanes near Tarrant Parkway involving a small vehicle and an 18-wheeler. Reports indicate the small vehicle crashed into the 18-wheeler.

One person inside the small vehicle was pronounced deceased on the scene. The victim has been identified as a 23-year-old female.

There are still delays in the area.

Two people shot at south Fort Worth house

The Fort Worth Police Department responded to a shooting incident overnight in the 3400 block of Frazier Avenue just south of the Fairmount neighborhood in south Fort Worth.

Officers were originally called to the Wingstop parking lot at 2723 8th Ave for reports of someone who had been shot. When emergency responders arrived, they located two people who had sustained gunshot injuries.

As officers tended to the victims, it was then reported the shooting had occurred at the Frazier Avenue location. Officers responded to that scene and located the crime scene.

One person inside the residence on Frazier Avenue is being interviewed.

Both victims were transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Fort Worth PD continues to investigate this case.

Man shot while walking down residential street near Fair Park

The Dallas Police Department responded to a shooting incident overnight in the 3700 block of Meadow Street just a few blocks from Fair Park in south Dallas. This is a street over from the homicide earlier yesterday on McDermott Ave.

The victim stated he was walking down the street when a silver sedan started shooting. He was struck by the gunfire.

Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and transported him to the hospital in unknown condition.

The investigation is ongoing.

This incident happened a street over from a homicide that occurred on Sunday afternoon where a man was found shot to death at a house on McDermott Ave.

Two people shot during shootout after car crash on I20 in Dallas

The Dallas Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred late last night along eastbound I20 at the I35E interchange in the south Dallas area. Dallas PD and Fire-Rescue responded to the scene around 11:56PM.

Police say two vehicles had been involved in a crash near the listed location. After the crash, two individuals began shooting at each other, riddling the vehicles with bullets.

Dallas Fire-Rescue responded for two shooting victims and transported both to the hospital with serious injuries.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.

Emergency responders working serious crash in Argyle

Argyle FD/EMS, PD, and Denton FD are all on scene of a major accident with reported entrapment and possible fatality in the 7000 block of FM 1830 near Granite Court.

Reports indicate a vehicle has crashed off the roadway near the S-curve on FM 1830 between Hickory Hill and Country Club. A heavy rescue response has been dispatched to the scene for extrication. Denton Fire Department has sent units for assistance.

Argyle Chief 511, Engine 511, Medic 511, Engine 513 are all on scene with Denton Truck 1, Rescue 1, and Battalion 1.

Major delays on I35W in Fort Worth due to serious crash with entrapment

Multiple Fort Worth FD, PD, and MedStar EMS units are on the scene of a major accident with entrapment impacting both northbound and southbound lanes of I35W near Highway 287 in north Fort Worth.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene just before 8:00AM this morning. It is reported to involved a vehicle and a semi truck in the northbound lanes. The 9-1-1 caller reported the vehicle was under the semi.

Fort Worth FD says there are multiple patients at the scene, including one that is trapped. Extrication is in progress at this time.

Battalion 3, Quint 31, Engine 31, Rescue 38, Engine 37, Engine 9 are all on scene with Fort Worth PD and MedStar EMS.

It is best to avoid this area.

Man shot dead in neighborhood near Fair Park

The Dallas Police Department responded to a shooting earlier this afternoon around 3:00PM in the 3100 block of McDermott Ave. The location is blocks away from Fair Park in south Dallas.

Police say witnesses spotted a black male in his late 20’s flee the location on foot. He was wearing a gray t-shirts and blue jeans with a black backpack.
