Passenger killed after vehicle falls off I35W overpass in Fort Worth
On Tuesday, April 30th, 2024 at 12:46am, Fort Worth Police, Fire, and MedStar EMS responded to a major accident along northbound I35W near Highway 121 near downtown.
It is believed that a driver lost control, crashed into the concrete barrier and the vehicle went over the overpass.
The driver was transported to an area hospital in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.
Lanes of I35W were closed until 4:30am for accident investigation.
