Ellis County ESD #6 personnel, Ellis County EMS, and multiple law enforcement are on scene of a major accident with entrapment at Longbranch Road and Blackchamp Road. Extrication has just been completed. Air medical was requested to stand by, but none are flying due to weather. Unknown severity of injuries.
Update – Medic 192 is ground transporting one patient to Methodist Dallas, priority 1.
Carrollton emergency management reports multiple high water rescues ongoing due to flooding. One at Jeanette Way and North Denton Drive. Another as Josey Lane and Countryside. Carrollton FD was just dispatched to another possible water rescue at PGBT and Luna Road. Don’t drive thru high water!
Battalion 1, Quint 17, Engine 17, Engine 10 are on scene with smoke and fire showing from the attic of a house in the 4600 block of Hemphill Street. Quint 21, Engine 21, Safety 1 all assigned to this fire.
Battalion 4, Quint 24, Engine 24 are on scene with heavy smoke showing from a house in the 2700 block of Meaders Ave. Engine 20, Engine 3, Engine 7, Safety 1 are all assigned to the fire. Interior fire attack in progress.
Numerous Dallas Fire-Rescue and Sheriffs deputies are on scene of a major accident / fuel spill northbound I35E at 635. Northbound lanes are blocked and 635 ramps to northbound I35E, including express lane, are closed. Major traffic delays in this area. HazMat is on scene.
Farmers Branch FD and PD are on scene of a reported natural gas leak in the 2700 block of Cookscreek Place. Some residents in the area may be displaced due to the leak. Requesting a Battalion Chief and ambulance to the scene. Avoid this area.
Engine 6 is on scene with smoke showing from the roof of a single story restaurant in the 900 block of W. Pioneer Parkway. Quint 6, Engine 3, and Engine 1 all on scene as well. Fire has been placed under control after about 20 minutes.
Quint 9, Engine 31, Engine 19, MedStar, and FWPD are on scene of a major accident on southbound North Freeway (I35W) at North Loop 820. Reported as a possible auto pedestrian with person lying on the highway. Expect delays in this area.
Dallas PD is on scene of a shooting at an apartment complex in downtown, 2300 Field Street. Officers report a suspect fled on foot and ran towards the Perot Museum. Described as a black male wearing all black clothing. Victim is deceased on scene. Crime Scene and Homicide investigators requested.
Official update from Dallas PD: They responded to 2323 N Field St regarding a shooting. A victim/employee found deceased. The suspect, a former employee/security guard, remains at large. Officers, including K9, are searching the area.
*Delayed for officer safety* Arlington PD has been in the area of 5300 block Vermillion Trail near Andalusia Trail in southwest Arlington for a few hours this afternoon. APD says they were looking for a suspect who was determined not to be in the area. Officers are clearing now.
