House Fire (Ft Worth)

Engine 3, Engine 22 are on scene with heavy fire showing from a single story structure in the 5200 block of Nell Street. Working fire. Mutual aid from Forest Hill FD. Battalion 4, Truck 14, and Quint 24 also assigned to the fire.

Major Accident, Vehicle into Water (Ellis/Navarro Co)

Avalon FD, Forreston FD, Ellis County EMS, Navarro County units, and multiple law enforcement are on scene of a reported vehicle into a creek near FM 55 just south of Highway 34. Patient has been located downstream in the creek. CPR is in progress.

Ellis County Medic 152 is ground transporting the patient to Ennis Regional, CPR in progress. Firefighters on board to assist with patient care.

Officer Involved Shooting (Dallas)

On March 30, 2017, at approximately 8:40 p.m., Dallas Police SWAT officers were serving a narcotics warrant in the 3000 block of Clydedale Drive. When officers entered the residence they were confronted by an armed suspect. One officer fired founds striking the suspect. The suspect was transported to a local hospital by Dallas Fire Rescue in unknown condition. This is an ongoing investigation.

Fatality Fire (Ellis County)

Around 4:30pm this evening, Red Oak FD, Waxahachie FD, Ovilla FD, and Ellis County EMS medics were called to the scene of a structure fire in the 500 block of Pritchett Road. Fully involved structure fire upon FD arrival, reported to be a mobile home. There were at least two civilian injuries at the scene: one patient with burns was transported to Parkland and another patient was found deceased inside the structure. Ellis County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the incident.

Double Electrocution (Ft Worth)

At approximately 6:15pm March 29th 2017 the Fort Worth Fire Department responded to the 1500 Block of Oakland Place to a reported electrocution. When Fire units arrived on scene they were directed by bystanders to a heavily wooded area near the North end of Oakland Lake Park. Witness reported that two children had been electrocuted by fallen power lines. Fire units made their way into the area to locate the victims. Fire crews confirmed that there were two victims and the power lines were still energized and arching. A grass fire had also been ignited from the lines. Fort Worth Fire requested an emergency response from Oncor to assist in making the scene safe for fire and Medstar crews to enter and additional Fire units were requested to extinguish the fire. Oncor emergency response crews arrived on scene and were able to de-energize the lines. With the scene safe, Fire and Medstar personnel accessed the victims and determined that they were deceased. The victims were two boys approximately 11 to 12 years old. Final identification will be determined by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner. At this time the scene is being secured by FWPD. FWPD Chaplains are scene to support the family of the victims.

Major Accident (Forreston)

Forreston FD, Ellis County EMS, and law enforcement are on scene of a rollover accident with possible ejection in the 900 block of Dry Branch Road. Medic 172 is currently transporting a patient to Methodist Dallas, serious injuries. Medic 161 is transporting at least one patient to Baylor Waxahahachie, unknown severity.

Shooting (Ft Worth)

Fort Worth PD is on scene of a reported shooting in the 10200 block of Cool Spring Drive in far west Fort Worth. FWPD responded to reports of a possible robbery and person shot at a home just before 12pm today. We will post more information once its been released by FWPD.
