Major Accident (Burleson)

Burleson FD has landed CareFlite at the scene of a major accident on northbound I35W service road (Burleson Blvd) near Bethesda Road. There is also a separate incident on southbound I35W involving a vehicle fire. The highway is closed southbound for this vehicle fire. These are two separate incidents.

Apartment Fire (Plano)

Truck 8 and Engine 8 are on scene with smoke showing from an apartment building in the 6900 block of Preston Road. Engine 7 reports a victim from the fire. Battalion 1 requesting a second ambulance to the scene.

Now reporting two victims and requesting 3 ambulances.

Update – Requesting CareFlite helicopter to the scene for one of the victims.

Update – Medic 10 ground transporting one patient to Medical Center of Plano, severe burns, CPR is in progress.

Update – CareFlite 4 airlifting one patient to Parkland. Plano Medic 10 ground transported a patient with severe burns.

Major Accident (Rockwall)

Rockwall FD, Rockwall County EMS, and Rockwall PD are working a major accident on eastbound I30 near FM 549. Rockwall PD reports all eastbound I30 lanes are closed at John King Blvd. Reports of an 18 wheeler vs another vehicle. Unknown injuries. Expect an extended closure.

Incidents (Ellis County)

Public safety crews were busy overnight in Ellis County with multiple serious incidents. Here’s a rundown:
 
2AM: Major Accident (Waxahachie) Waxahachie Fire Dept., Ellis County EMS, and law enforcement all responded to a major accident at Ovilla Road and 287 bypass around 2am. Multiple ambulances responded. Reported vehicle rollover. Several children were transported, at least one by air medical helicopter, to Children’s Medical Center Dallas.
 
4AM: Major Accident (Forreston) Forreston FD and other emergency responders responded to a reported vehicle vs. pole crash off Highway 77 between Forreston and Waxahachie. At least two transported from the scene with reported serious injuries.
 
There was also a shooting near Maypearl, but we have not heard any details on that scene. Busy night for Ellis County!

Apartment Fire (Plano)

Battalion 1, Truck 5, Engine 5 are on scene of a working fire at an apartment complex in the 3400 block of W Park Blvd. Engine 2 establishing a water supply. 

Update – Fire in the kitchen of one of the apartment units. Fire knocked down by interior crews.
