Pursuit/Foot Chase (Grand Prairie/Dallas)

Grand Prairie PD had a traffic stop off I20 turn into a chase that ended near Walton Walker and Bernal Drive in Dallas. Suspect wrecked out and fled on foot. One in custody. One still outstanding in the area. Grand Prairie and Dallas PDs looking for the 2nd subject. Its best to avoid the area.

*Update – 2nd subject now in custody. Officers + K9 got him!

Fire w/ Injury (McKinney)

McKinney FD is still on scene of an early morning fire at an apartment building in the 4400 block of Eldorado Parkway. According to our friends at First Response Photography​, a civilian suffered severe burn injuries and was airlifted from the scene to Parkland Hospital via PHI Med 2. Fire crews were able to save a dog inside the apartment.

Stabbing (McKinney)

McKinney PD are investigating a stabbing at the Dollar General on N. McDonald Street. McKinney EMS ground transported a stabbing victim to Medical Center of McKinney code 3 (lights/siren), critical injuries with traumatic CPR in progress. (Info: First Response Photography)

Damage Reports/Flooding (Johnson County, Rio Vista)

Public safety across Johnson County are assessing damage caused by potentially multiple tornadoes around the Rio Vista area. Reports of a large piece of debris, possibly an awning of some sort, on Cleburne Whitney Road near the train tracks in Rio Vista proper. “Roofs missing” in Rio Vista according to Johnson County Emergency Management. Power is out all over. There are dozens of reports of high water over area roadways. Cleburne Emergency operations center has reported 8-10 inches of water over Highway 174 and CR 1112 (just south of Cleburne). Reports of vehicles abandoned in the roadway. Please do not attempt to drive through high waters. There have already been at least two water rescues in the Cleburne area.

Motorcycle Accident (Frisco)

Quint 6, Medic 2, and other Frisco units on scene of a motorcycle accident on southbound Dallas North Tollway near Cotton Gin Road. All southbound lanes closed. Medic 2 ground transporting a motorcycle rider to Medical Center of Plano, code 3 (lights/siren). Trauma alert.
