Man dies after being ejected from vehicle doing donuts in northwest Dallas parking lot
The Dallas Police Department responded to a fatality accident early this morning in the northwest Dallas area.
At around 1:35AM, Dallas Fire-Rescue and Police were dispatched to a major accident in the 11600 block of Newberry Street. One person was ejected and overrun by a vehicle. He was transported to Parkland Hospital, but died as a result of his injuries.
An investigation reveals the victim was sitting on the back left window of a pickup truck clinging to the vehicle as it performed donuts in the parking lot of a business. The victim fell out of the window and was run over by the left rear tire of the truck.
The driver of the pickup truck, identified as a 28-year-old man, performing the donuts was arrested for Manslaughter.
The victim has been identified as a 20-year-old male.
