Pedestrian struck and killed while crossing Crowley roadway
The Crowley Police Department is investigating a fatality accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian that occurred on Tuesday evening in the 200 block of South Crowley Road.
Crowley PD and Fire/EMS all responded to the scene at 8:50PM. Police said the man was attempted to cross the roadway near the Little Caesar’s pizza shop. A vehicle struck him as he crossed the road.
EMS pronounced the pedestrian deceased on the scene. He has been identified as a 30-year-old man from Crowley who lived about a mile from the crash scene.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and is cooperating with police.
