Ongoing Standoff (Arlington) Info straight from APD to us: “Around 4 pm officers responded to assist in serving a felony warrant at a location on Twin Parks Dr near Harris and Matlock. Upon arrival the man’s family walked out of the location but he refused to come out. We are trying to initiate contact with him to have him peacefully surrender. We are using Grand Prairie SWAT because our SWAT team is out of city for training. A few evacuations in immediate area as a precaution since swat is on scene trying to negotiate with suspect.”
