Police Enforcement (Burleson)
We’ve had several inquires regarding heavy police presence at a weigh station/rest stop area off I35W near Bethesda Rd in the Burleson area. Here is the information we received from Arlington PD’s spokesperson: “They [Arlington PD] are participating with a commercial vehicle enforcement inspection detail with Burleson PD. This includes conducting weight and balance inspections of large commercial trucks designed to ensure drivers are in compliance. We also are assisting with equipment inspections on commercial trucks.”
We have heard the task force includes Burleson PD, Burleson Marshals, Arlington PD, Grand Prairie PD, Mansfield PD, DPS, and Tri-County Auto Theft.
