Commercial Fire (Ft Worth)

The Fort Worth Fire Department responded to a reported fire at 4151 Hemphill Street, a party supply store, this morning around 5:20 a.m. FWFD Engine 4 was the first company on scene and reported heavy fire showing. A partial collapse of the structure’s roof occurred shortly after the fire department’s arrival, prompting defensive operations. Firefighters aggressively protected the two businesses that share the building with ‘Jugueteria Nili’, the party supply store. Although the party supply store is a total loss, the adjoining businesses suffered minor smoke damage only. Fire crews will remain on scene until several partially collapsed walls have been demolished and the structure has been declared safe. At this time, no injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
