Arlington police investigating deceased person found at park
The Arlington Police Department along with the Crime Scene unit are investigating a shooting at the back of Randol Mill Park, 1901 W. Randol Mill Road.
APD was dispatched to a possible shooting at the park around 12:45pm this afternoon. When officers arrived, they located a person shot. EMS transported the victim to AMH where he died. An official with the department says the death is a suicide.
A portion of the park near the back pond is closed while CSI investigates the scene.
It is best to avoid this area due to police activity.
