9:30pm Update: Storms continue to form and move east into DFW
The main line of strong to severe thunderstorms continues to fill in and form west of the DFW Metroplex and slowly move in this direction.
Embedded thunderstorms within the line are capable of producing 70MPH wind gusts and half dollar sized hail.
These storms will continue to form and slowly move east into the DFW Metroplex. They will impact Dallas and Tarrant counties between 1-2 hours. Expect strong winds, frequent lightning, heavy rainfall, and potentially damaging hail with this squall line.
A Severe Thunderstorm WATCH is in effect until 2am.
