Disturbance in northeast Arlington leads to shooting; one person dead
The Arlington Police Department is investigating an overnight homicide at an apartment complex in north Arlington.
Just after 1:30am, Arlington police officers responded to a shooting call in the 1900 block of Savoy Drive. When they arrived, they located a man in a vehicle with apparent gunshot wounds. The man was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Investigators believe that the victim and a known acquaintance were in a disturbance with one another prior to the shooting. After the shooting, the suspect fled on foot.
