Man walking on I-30 struck, killed by 18-wheeler in Dallas
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatality accident involving a pedestrian struck by an 18-wheeler last night along Interstate 30.
Around 8:00PM, multiple emergency responders from Dallas Fire-Rescue and Dallas County sheriffs deputies responded to a major accident on eastbound I-30 near Hampton Road.
Officials say a man walking along the highway was struck by a passing 18-wheeler. The driver says he was unable to avoid the pedestrian in the roadway.
No identifying information regarding the pedestrian has been released yet. No charges are expected.
