One person killed in fiery crash on SH 121

The Richland Hills Police Department is investigating a fatality accident on southbound Highway 121 near Minnis Drive.

RHPD says the crash involved two vehicles, both occupied by only a driver, and sadly, one driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

There is no access to Hwy 121 South in Richland Hills at this time. Traffic is being diverted at the Loop 820/121 split. Expect delays and use alternate routes. The closure will last several hours as our team investigates the crash.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will release the name of the deceased once the next of kin are notified.

UPDATE: Shooting and rollover crash investigation on southbound East Loop 820

On Thanksgiving evening at around 6:40pm, Fort Worth Police and Fire/EMS responded to the southbound lanes of East Loop 820 near Sun Valley Drive to investigate a shooting.

When officers arrived, they located one person shot in the back. The individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Investigators have determined that two vehicles were chasing each other on the highway and shots were fired. A vehicle accident then occurred involving a flipped over vehicle.

The Gun Violence Unit is currently investigating the scene on southbound E. Loop 820. As of 9:00pm, all southbound lanes remain closed in this area.

Dallas police shoot, kill armed suspect after shooting in downtown Dallas

On November 24, 2025, at approximately about 2 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a disturbance in the 2000 block of Commerce Street.

DPD confirms an officer involved shooting occurred after officers confronted an armed suspect at a disturbance where multiple people were shot. The suspect died at the scene. One victim died at the scene and others were transported to the hospital in stable condition.

No officers are injured.

This is an active investigation, and updates will be provided as the investigation continues.

Juvenile killed in crash with train, Fort Worth police say

On Wednesday, November 19th at 3:45pm, Haltom City Fire, FWFD, and FWPD were dispatched to a major accident in the area of Elliot Reeder & Colony Court.

Officers arrived on scene to discover a vehicle had been hit by a train.

Preliminary information indicates that the vehicle, occupied by an adult and juvenile, attempted to go around an activated train barricade, at which point the vehicle was stuck by the train.

The juvenile was pronounced deceased on scene, while the adult was transported to a local area hospital in unknown condition.

Man shot, killed at north Fort Worth apartment building

On 11/15/2025 at around 1:48am, Fort Worth PD officers were dispatched to a shots fired call at 3317 Augusta Ln in north Fort Worth.

Upon arrival, officers located a victim laying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene. 

Officers were also advised that 3-4 unknown males had been seen in the complex wearing surgical masks and gloves. The deceased victim was found wearing a surgical mask and wearing rubber gloves. 

Detectives have interviewed a brother of the victim that walked up to the scene not wearing any shoes and muddy as if he had been in the complex with the victim at the time of the shooting.

It appears as if the victim and the other subjects may have been in the complex possibly breaking into vehicles when the victim was shot by an unknown suspect.  

The incident remains under investigation.

UPDATE: Woman killed, man injured after bullets hit vehicle on I20 in Arlington

The Arlington Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred along westbound I-20 near Bowman Springs Road which resulted in the death of an adult female and injuries to an adult male.

On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at approximately 7:40 p.m., officers responded to a gas station in the 4900 block of Little Road after a 911 caller reported he had been shot. When officers arrived, they located an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound inside his vehicle. Officers also located an adult female who had been shot and who was unresponsive. The female was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.

Two children who were also inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting were transported to Medical City Arlington to be evaluated as a precaution.

The adult male driver was transported to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.

During the initial response, officers also learned that a second vehicle traveling in the area had been struck by gunfire. None of the occupants in that vehicle were injured.

Based on preliminary information, investigators believe the deceased woman may have been pregnant at the time of her death, and that the victims were traveling westbound on I-20 near Bowman Springs Road when their vehicle was struck by gunfire. After the shooting, the driver drove to a nearby gas station to call police.

This remains an active and ongoing investigation. Detectives are following up on available leads and working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No arrests have been made.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased once next of kin have been notified.

Dallas Cowboys player commits suicide after police chase, crash ends in Frisco

On November 5, 2025, at 10:33 P.M., Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation in the northbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway near Keller Springs Blvd. 

The driver refused to stop, resulting in a pursuit with DPS Troopers. However, DPS Troopers lost sight of the vehicle, and the pursuit was terminated.

The vehicle was later located abandoned and had been involved in a crash on the southbound lanes of Dallas Parkway near Warren Parkway.

DPS Aircraft and Troopers, along with the Frisco Police Department, searched the immediate area and found the driver, a 24-year-old of Plano, deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He has since been identified as Marshawn Kneeland, a player for the Dallas Cowboys.

Frisco PD is handling the death investigation. They released the following statement:

“A man was found deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound following an outside agency vehicle pursuit that led to a multi-agency search in Frisco.

On November 5, 2025, at approximately 10:39 p.m., the Frisco Police Department responded to assist the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) with locating a vehicle that had evaded troopers during a pursuit that entered the city of Frisco. After losing visual of the vehicle, troopers located it minutes later, crashed on southbound Dallas Parkway near Warren Parkway.

Initial reports indicated that a male subject, later identified as 24-year-old Marshawn Kneeland of Plano, TX fled the scene on foot . Officers established a perimeter and initiated a search of the area with the assistance of the FPD K-9 and Drone units.

During the course of the search, officers received information that Kneeland had expressed suicidal ideations. Kneeland was later located at 1:31a.m., deceased with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The cause/manner of death will be determined by the Collin County Medical Examiner’s Office.

At this time, no further details will be released as the investigation remains ongoing.

Pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle on 114 in Westlake

On Monday, November 3, 2025, at approximately 9:40 p.m., the Keller Police Department, Southlake Fire Department and Southlake Police Department responded to a traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the westbound lanes of State Highway 114, near Davis Boulevard, in the Town of Westlake.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male pedestrian deceased in the roadway.

The North Texas Regional Crash Team is still investigating the collision. Preliminary information indicates vehicles were traveling westbound on SH114 just past Davis Boulevard when the pedestrian walked across the roadway for unknown reason and was struck by a vehicle.

The driver remained on scene and was cooperative throughout the investigation.

At this time, Keller PD does not believe drugs and/or alcohol were a factor in this collision.
