Multiple departments are working a structure fire in the 200 block of Briar Oaks Lane. Engine 51 on scene with a working fire at a shop, fire throughout. Fire knocked down. La Junta, Springtown, Azle, and Reno FDs all working the fire.
Quint 35, Engine 37, FWPD north side officers and multiple MedStar units are working a major accident with reported ejection on southbound I35W near Heritage Trace Pkwy. The freeway has been closed. MedStar advising two fatalities on scene. Expect prolonged closure.
Grandview FD & Careflite Ground have launched air medical to a motorcycle accident on FM 916 @ CR 409A. Helicopter will be Careflite 7 out of Whitney. A11
Benbrook PD and FD are working a train vs pedestrian accident in the 7000 blk of W Vickery Blvd. Sounds to be a fatality.
AFD and AMR with assistance from Medstar and the AMBUS are working a fatality bus accident on I30 at Center St. Reported up to 16 patients. Highway shut down. Avoid the area.
Cleburne officers have taken a subject into custody from a near 30 minute vehicle pursuit through the streets of Cleburne. The pursuit started off Wilhite Street near downtown when one officer noticed a vehicle was fleeing from him. Cleburne’s finest chased the suspect throughout the city and the pursuit came to an end at around 12:45am in the 700 block of Barber Ave.
Dallas PD is investigating a shooting in the 9500 block of Forest Lane, reported to be at the Budget Suites of America. A Dallas officer arrived on the scene very shortly after being notified of the incident and requested Dallas Fire Rescue for a victim. The scene has been closed off for investigation.
Fort Worth PD is investigating a shooting in the 6700 block of Friendsway Drive. There was a report of shots heard in the area of I35W and Western Center just before 10pm tonight, which prompted a search of the area. Fort Worth PD’s Air-1 helicopter flew over the area for about 15 minutes. About an hour later, FWPD, FWFD and MedStar were called to a possible gunshot wound victim in the 6700 block of Friendsway Drive, not too far from I35W and Western Center. It is not immediately known if these two incidents are related. There is a heavy FWPD presence in the neighborhood. MedStar has ground transported the shooting victim to JPS with serious injuries.
*UPDATE* Fort Worth PD is advising this is an officer involved shooting.
Dallas Fire Rescue and Police are working a major accident with entrapment at W Ledbetter Drive and Polk Street. No other details known at this time.
Roanoke FD and PD are on scene of a major accident eastbound 114 at 170. Multiple vehicles involved. Major damage. CareFlite was on standby, but has been disregarded. Roanoke PD advising traffic is bad in this area. Avoid!
